Kylie May's Visit With Friends Day 104

We started the day like we start everyday...waking up slowly, singing, smiling and enjoying a few moments with daddy until he falls asleep. We got ready and headed to my parents house where we got to spend a little time with Janelle (we hope to get a chance to hang out with their whole family some time soon). Then it was off to visit Janisha and Alana for lunch. It has been a while since we visited with Alana and she has grown up so much. She is talking up a storm and seemed very excited to have Kylie over. I'm sure they will have more fun in a few more months once Kylie can play a little more. After dropping our car off at the dealer to get the speaker looked at, I ran to work at the dance studio for just an hour. Kylie hung out with grandma and grandpa while daddy worked on getting paperwork finished for our homes refinance.  Then Craig was off to work again (last night this week, yeah!) and I had dinner with my parents. But Kylie's fun day was not over yet, our friends Doug and Gina brought their little one Jackson over. He is a month younger then Kylie and oh so cute. We walked downtown for a little ice cream, Jackson slept through most of the trip, but Kylie is starting to pay more attention to her surroundings and really sees to enjoy walking around. She has also been smiling A LOT more. It is so awesome! Her little smile just melts out hearts.

I spent the good part of my night trying to get us organized and packed for our trip to Oregon on Friday. Why is it so much harder to pack for a little one then for yourself? I'm sure I over-packed for her, but better safe then sorry :o)

More to come soon,
Natalie

Alana holding Kylie, Kylie needs a tan ;o)

Gotta love naked time in cowboy boots, she is already falling in love with them.

Kylie hanging out with Janisha and Alana, cute pic, to bad she was distracted by the TV, I think she was trying to figure out why she has never seen these great kids shows on at our house :o)

Kylie had a little play tine in her crib while I was packing today. I left the room for a second and when I came back she was holding both of her toys and laughing, it was so cute.
