Kylie loved em! Thad and Michele, that is. She had already met Thad, but you know how it goes when you live the life Kylie does. She often looks at someone and says (to herself of course) I know he looks familiar, I'm just not sure from where. Then she realized who it was and she gave him a big ole smooch. The little one had a fun filled day of downtown walking, eating at Martha Green's (actually, watching us eat), buying her first amber necklace (they are supposed to help with teething), and just having a lazy bum day around the house. She did enjoy the perfect weather this evening, while sitting in her swing watching me BBQ tri-tip. She was soo excited to have people over for dinner (Thad, Michele, Papa, Mimi, and Melissa) that she overextended herself during prep time, and then slept through the entire dinner. Sorry Kylie, don't worry though, there will be another BBQ someday soon.
She has started this new trend the last three or four nights where she really does not like the idea of taking a bottle. I guess she just knows there's no substitute for the real thing. Papa, Mimi, Melissa, Michele, Thad, and I all had to work a little bit to get her to settle in and just relax, but once we finally got her content and willing to take a bottle she mellowed right out and eventually fell asleep. She is sound asleep now, Nat is at work, so I'm off to get some things done (I know how the tooth fairy must feel...always having to get her work done once the kids are asleep....tough life) before she decides it's time to wake up....that could be any time.
