Kylie May's Library Day 98

Kylie started her morning with a walk to the library! In an attempt to get to know our neighbors better, I made plans for Kylie and I to walk to the library with our neighbor and her kids. Leanna has twin boys that are almost 8 and a little girl that is 4. The library has story time on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, so we decided to go. But we got a late start and stopped to say HI to my parents on the way so we made it there a little to late to hear the story. Kylie was fast asleep in her sling so she didn't mind. We hung out at the library and watched all the kids run around the park outside. This is the same park that Craig and I had our wedding ceremony at, it was so amazing to sit holding Kylie, watching other families, thinking about our future, while at the same time be reminded of one of the best days of my life. It was a great morning.

Leanna and I had a chance to get to know each other and we really hit it off, I am excited to be making friends with the other mothers on the street. Craig woke up in the afternoon and spent a little time with Kylie while I took a quick nap before work at the dance studio. By 3:00pm I was heading out the door to teach at Fox Dance Studio (we had to change our name because Disney started a kids show called "Shake It Up" which was an infringement on our copy write, so we settled with Disney and sold them the name, it all worked out well for us, I am just still trying to get used to calling it Fox). Craig brought Kylie down during my breaks so I could nurse her, he also enjoyed market night and picked up some delicious fresh fruits and vegetables. He headed home with her, got her ready for bed and waited for me to come home to nurse her. This was a good plan, we thought, she had nursed at the studio at 7:45 and I would be home at 9:15. By 8:45, however, she was not happy. When I walked in the door Craig was holding her pacing in the hallway and she was screaming. We decided that next time he will just give her a bottle with breastmilk and I will still nurse her when I get home. When she is ready for bed she is READY FOR BED and she is not interested in being quiet about it. Poor Craig gets so stressed when she cries like that, I don't blame him, I hate it too.

Once she was in bed Craig and I ate a late dinner and sat down to a little TV. Craig fell asleep in his comfy chair and I started writing :o) Wish we had more photos of her day.

More to come soon,
Natalie
Kylie in her cute outfit, she is finally big enough for it!
This was Kylie yesterday, she had just finished nursing and was in such a good mood, I just love these little moments.
