Kylie May feels better today 94

Last night was another rough one. We started out in bed, but every time I would lay Kylie down she would have such a hard time breathing she would fuss and wake herself up. So I tried propping myself up in bed and holding her, that worked well for her but I didn't sleep well. So then it was out the the la-z-boy chair. We spent a good 5 hours in the chair, once again, Kylie doing better but not very restful for me. So back to bed. By this morning I was just counting down the minutes until Craig would be home, or my parents would come over, I just needed a little sleep. Craig got home and made us an amazing breakfast (I don't know how he has energy to spend time in the kitchen after working 12.5 hours) he brought it to me in bed so I could eat without moving Kylie. I got a few naps in thanks to my parents help and by this afternoon Kylie and I were both feeling a little better.

Kylie had a fun first today, she had her first ride in a backpack. My parents brought over their backpack carrier they used for Andre (little boy they used to babysit) and we tried it out. I have such a hard time getting stuff done around the house when Kylie wants to be held, so we thought this might help. She really seemed to like it. We were worried she would be to small, but with a few blankets around her it worked well. My mom even helped me make dinner for Craig while Kylie enjoyed her backpack time. After a quick trip to the dance studio and Kylie's appearance with grandma and grandpa and Ty's retirement party, we were home in time to have dinner with Craig and see him off to another night at work (4th in a row).

It took a little while for Kylie to get comfortable, but she is asleep now and I am eager to join her. We are looking forward to a family day together tomorrow, we miss Craig and can't wait to see him in the morning.

More to come soon,
Natalie
