Kylie May and a Mixed up Sunday 87

Day?...Night?...Or somewhere in between?  This is what Kylie spent a majority of her day trying to figure out.  Don't worry little one, your mother are perplexed by this same question most of the time too....hmmm...come to think of it, I guess that's why Kylie couldn't figure it out either.  Her and I had a good night last night, while Nat was busy pullin babies into this world as fast as she could count. "seven billion four hundred and one...seven billion four hundred and two...oh wait, I lost count. Where were we again?"  So, to continue, At 8:00 when Nat got home Kylie was just waking up from a glorious 10-hour slumber and Nat was ready to hit the sac.  Needless to say, when Nat gets home Kylie is craving a little mommy/daughter nursing time so she laid back down with Nat. At about noon, when Thad, Michele, and I got home from church, I went in a picked up a very cozy, confused, sleeping baby.  Maybe just for experiment sake some day we will just let Kylie lay in bed with Nat as long as she wants...I'm pretty sure she would just stay in there forever (well at least until her favorite TV show came on).

Before Michele and Thad left today Kylie was able to spend some good quality holding time with them (she said Thad was a little heavy, but not too bad), she even gave Michele a nice dirty diaper for a going away present...now that I think about it, they packed up and left pretty quickly after that blow out....hmmmm...curious.  It was a long drive and a short trip for the two of them, but we are really glad they took the time to come and hang out.  After a little more sleeping time for Nat, play mat time for Kylie, and watching Tiger Woods win a tournament for me, we got another visit from some very welcomed company.  Grandma Gloria, Aunt Trudy, and Grandpa Gene all stopped in for a quick Sunday visit.  Kylie wanted to look her best so she put on her fancy new amber necklace.  It was a good thing she did because Aunt Trudy, Grandma, and Kylie all had a good time comparing hardware.  Grandpa said he just left his necklace at home so he wouldn't overshadow everyone else...I understand grandpa....that is thoughtful of you. Our little diva even pulled out a few smiles and laughs for the gang...that was, as they say a real "Sunday treat"

Well the next wave has arrived (the Johnson clan) to stay with us for a couple days, so I'm off to offer some greetings.

more to come soon,

-Craig-
