1. The Christmas decorating fairy was a little behind and only came last night. That means Kylie didn't have her first experience with a Christmas tree until this morning. I carried her into the living room (where all the Christmas lights were on of course) with Nat following close behind. Kylie looked at the decorated tree, then looked at Nat and I, back at the tree, back at us, and then got the hugest grin on her face. That, is a priceless parenting moment. I can't wait for some more.
2. For historical purposes we are documenting that Kylie's second top tooth finally cut through. Apparently we have a translation for all of our little elfs recently squawking. Keep in mind that this is a literal, verbatim translation: Kylie: "Blah, dah, dah, blah!" Translation: "All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth." Well little one, it was just in the nick (not the St. one) of time, but you did get what you wished for.
Unfortunately the sawdust is still flying at Santa's workshop so the pictures will tell the rest of this story.
Merry Christmas!
more to come soon,
Craig
Kylie was a little excited and little terrified during her meeting with Kerry and Kyle's new dog Lola. |
