Kylie May Watches Her Mama Dance Day 274

She saw the lights, the cameras, the action, which I'm sure led her to believe that she would be making her way to the red carpet in only a matter of time.  We didn't have the heart to tell our little Kylie that the whole shindig was on closed circuit TV for the Fox Dance Studio audience only.  Besides, sitting in the back row applauding her mama's dance efforts would have made her nothing more than an extra anyway.  I guess it doesn't really matter.  For Kylie, The annual Christmas Showcase at Nat's dance studio is more about the lights, the music, the dancing, and the crowd.  Seeing Patrick Swayze lift Nat up over his head, with I Had the Time of My Life playing... oh wait. That was a different time. Never mind. So. Getting back on track.  Funny thing about tonight is that she mentioned having a slight since of deja vu sitting at the performance.  And who said babies don't remember anything during their time in the cooking chamber?  Yes Kylie. This is your second Christmas Showcase. It just happens to be the first one you attended outside an amniotic sac.  Even though seeing is believing and Kylie loved to watch what was happening, her participation in the dance department drastically dropped off from last year.  Oh well. I guess it just gives her something to improve on next year.
