Like Arnold making his return to the big screen, Kylie eventually getting a little cold was inevitable. Luckily for us, she is a pretty happy camper (or cabiner) even when she is a under the weather. She still laughed, smiled, and played like it was business as usual (except for the runny nose that had to be tended to every little while). The downside to being sick though, is that it really curtails the sledding and outdoor play activities. So? What did our day become? Reading, walking lap after lap after lap around the house, playing with toys, singing, eating (blueberries were her absolute favorite today), watching the 49ers, and keeping the fire alive. While we do wish we got to spend a little time out in the snow, it isn't such a bad situation. Actually, it is probably the best "Southern Californian winter snow experience". We sit by the warm fire and look out the window at all the snow. Perfect! Tomorrow more adventuring may be in the cards, but only time, health, and the weather will tell.
