Many perks to having the in-laws in town, help writing this blog, not one of them ;o)
Kylie and Cooper had another wonderful day. We had a visit this morning from a friend of mine and her 3.5 year old daughter. The girls immediately hit it off and enjoyed each others company for the majority of the morning. Lala, Al and Ammy did an amazing job playing with the girls while us mommies visited, thank you.
Lala entertained Kylie with some "one day..." stories while we ate lunch. She has been making up stories for the past few days, there is no way I will be able to remember all of them. It will be sad when Kylie is asking to hear them once Lala leaves, we will be making many FaceTime calls I'm sure.
Kylie took a good nap while Al and I tried to get a few more newborn photos of Cooper. He sleeps really well until we pull out the camera. There are still a few shots I hope to get, but we will see.
This afternoon Kylie got to play outside and in her little pool with Lala and Mish. We had a delicious dinner and Kylie got a big surprise when Papa David and Auntie Doe (Quin) walked through the door tonight. She was in 7th Heaven playing with her Aunties and Papa. At one point she went up to Doe, gave her a hug and said "Thank you for coming," so sweet. When Craig kissed her and told her he was going to bed (he worked today and is going in at 2am to work an extra 5 hours before his regular shift tomorrow), she started to cry and said "I don't want my Aunties to leave." "No, no Ky, Daddy is going to bed, your Aunties are not going anywhere." To which she smiled, kissed him on the cheek, the lips, back on the cheek and said good night. Auntie Doe got to read her bedtime stories before I nursed her to sleep. While we were trying to go to sleep she sat up and said, in a whisper, "my aunties are waiting for me to come play with them," and she tried to get out of bed. After reassuring her that her aunties were going to sleep and that they would be happy to play with her in the morning, she finally relaxed and fell asleep.

Getting ready for our Anniversary dinner date.
Today Kylie made a little tent to read in.
Family photos on our walk downtown last night. Kylie is sporting a yellow headband, Easter hat, sunglasses and her new Cinderella shoes, she is quite the fashionista.
More to come soon,
Natalie
