We found out some valuable information today. Having a second child doesn't make us any later to church than we always are. Wheww! what a relief. Otherwise we might only make it to help clean things up. Cooper had a good day today...which in turn means we had a good day. What is a good baby day? Well, you know. Being held, eating, and sleeping. He did have a moment of mesmerization today though. While laying on our bed (yes. all by himself) he caught sight of Kylie's monkey blanket (just a blanket with some monkeys on it). If you'd found the Holy Grail you couldn't possibly look at it with any more fascination than Cooper looked at his sister's blanket. We got a clear reminder that for little people it is the little things that make them happiest.
We lost some of our crew today. Not figuratively, we knew where they were, but Papa David, La La (Lane), Doe (Quin), and Al (Alisa) had to make the trek back to Porterville this afternoon. It is always so great having them though. Kylie thinks the world of them, and Cooper...well...let's be honest. He doesn't know that anyone exists on this planet besides the woman who supplies the milk (A.K.A mom).
The mini C and I snuck in some quality snoozing time again today. Really, besides napping and cow tipping, we don't have many other hobbies together just yet, but I'm sure the day is coming. He is so fun to watch sleep, and I have a sneaking suspicion that someday when he is 13 years old I will still enjoy the innocent look on his face while he sleeps.
More to come soon,
Craig
