We had a delicious dinner, thank you to my amazing husband, then went for a walk. Melissa came over and I gave her a quick lesson with my camera so she can capture a few photos while I am in early labor. I am hoping to have a good friend come by and take photos of the birth, but Melissa is ready to be back up if we need her. My contractions are about every 10-15 min and quite strong. I can technically still talk through them, but I do much better when I stop, close my eyes, and focus on breathing. This was so much easier the first time around when I didn't have a 2 year old saying "mommy, mommy, mommy, what are you doing mommy? you ok mommy? you having con-craction now mommy? I want to nannies right now!" She is in the bath now and if things continue to move forward we might see if she can stay tonight at my parents. Craig just re-inflated the birth pool and I talked to my mother-in-law, they are thinking they will head this direction tonight so they are here for the weekend since we are hoping this will happen in the next couple days.
I will take a shower soon and probably lay down for a bit and see how I feel. No call to Karen yet, but I am thinking Craig will call her in a bit and give her a heads up, just in case we have to wake her later tonight. I am also thinking Craig will have to call off of work tomorrow, but that decision does not need to be made until early morning, so we will see. I will update again a little later :o)
