Craig was home today, he and Kylie took a bike ride this morning and Cooper and I slept in a little bit. I couldn't believe it when they got home and Kylie came in to wake me up, it felt so good to get a little extra sleep, thank you wonderful husband and sleepy newborn. And I got to take a shower, yay! I pretty much felt like a whole new woman today :o)
Cooper also had a bath today, he was napping, but it was our one chance to get his bath in so we decided to go for it anyway (something we would have never done with Kylie, wake her for a bath, no way! Poor second child). He woke up while we were getting him undressed for the bath, but as soon as we put him in the water he closed his eyes and fell back to sleep, it was so cute. He woke again when we washed his hair, but other then that he seemed to like the womb-like experience. Also his cord fell off yesterday, it is looking so good today, I can't believe how quickly it healed up.
Kylie had another fun filled day. This morning she was out in the living room, Cooper was in his little rocker, Craig and I were cleaning up in our bedroom, then it got very quiet. Craig headed straight to the living room where he found Kylie, she had pulled the rocker across the room from the dining room to the living room, she was holding up and book and "reading" it to Cooper. So sweet. We got her on video and just enjoyed the moment. She can be so sweet with Cooper, too sweet sometimes. Later in the day Craig found her climbing on the rocker, leaning over Cooper trying to give him a kiss. This afternoon Kylie was thrilled when Ammy, Lala and Al showed up, she immediately took advantage of the extra playmates and went on a walk and played in her pool. We are all grateful to have them here, I hope we don't tire them out to quickly :o)
Sleeping this morning, Kylie is nursing and cuddling her brother, doesn't get better then that.
