Since there was no sign of baby arrival today, Craig headed in to work. I woke up feeling energized and decided that Kylie and I should do something fun. We headed to Sky Town. It is a trampoline park that is part of our local water park. I had never been before but I head heard from friends that it is fun and on Monday and Thursday mornings they have Toddler Time from 8-11am. I text Tabitha to see if she wanted to bring Portia and Nico and we headed to try it out. It took Kylie about 10 minutes to warm up, but then she was off running and jumping around. It was so fun. I jumped a couple times then figured they probably would not appreciate my water breaking on their trampolines so I decided to take it easy. By the end of our jumping adventure we were all ready for a yummy lunch (which we ate at the Sky Town) and Kylie wanted to jump some more. It was not Toddler Time anymore so we decided to leave, but I am hoping to take her back next Monday.
We got in the car and decided to go visit Craig at work for a little bit before heading home for a nap. It is always fun to surprise him at work and it just so happened that Auntie Marta was just ready to leave school, so she hung out with us too. We spent a little time with Craig then headed down to see Auntie Jo. Kylie was so excited to visit Auntie Jo it was all she could talk about even when we were visiting Craig.
We then headed home for a little nap. Once I got Kylie down I realized that I had an apt scheduled with Karen this afternoon. I had to cut Kylie's nap a little short and we headed out to visit Karen. The appointment went well. The baby sound great, I am still measuring about 34cm and lost almost 2 lbs since last week, but Karen just smiles and says everything looks good. I love the relaxed way she cares for me, she truly trusts my body to do exactly what it is supposed to do and that gives me so much confidence and peace of mind. During our apt today the baby moved to my left side for the first time. It was so weird to have him/her on my left with feet on my right. Karen said that most babies tend to prefer the left side, so I wonder if this little one just headed that way to get ready to come out, only time will tell :o) There is still good fluid around the baby (obviously if it is moving so well) it is easy yo feel a couple big pockets on either side of the baby. Kylie enjoyed helping hold the doppler, she just lights up when she hears the baby's heartbeat. Today we also put the doppler on Kylie's chest and listened to her heart beat, she thought it was pretty cool. We scheduled an appointment for next Monday, but I am hoping I get a visit from Karen at my house before then :o) Kylie spent a little time following Karens cat around the yard before we headed back home.
We visited Marta for a little bit and Kylie actually stayed and played with Marta while I went home and started working on dinner. I had a couple strong contractions while I was cooking, but once again nothing consistent. When Kylie got home dinner was almost ready and Kerry, Kyle and baby Olivia were on there way over to enjoy the meal with us. Kylie loves seeing Olivia, she is constantly wanting to look at her, touch her or help out with her in some way. She got to hold Olivia for a brief moment and loved it. It was so fun to have my good friends over, I hope we can do dinner together more often this summer.
Craig got home, ate dinner and helped me out a ton by walking Kylie to sleep tonight. I have continued to have some contractions and every once in a while they feel somewhat strong :o) The baby feels like it has rotated in to an OP position again, ugh, but I just have to trust that it will do what it needs to do when the time is right. The past couple hours I have had more contractions and a few have been a little stronger. I am going to do what I do every night and drink some more water and head to bed. If I end up out of bed because of the contractions I will be sure to post something :o)
Good night until then :o)
