Cooper didn't know it, but Natalie left him alone for the first time today. It wasn't a long time, but it was the beginning of the end. So what did Cooper do? stayed at home watching Sports Center of course. Actually, he was sound asleep with his auntie Jill while Nat ran a couple errands for the big (not Justin Beiber big, but 26 day old big) "meet the baby party' tomorrow. Don't worry Coop we promise not to leave you home alone....at least not on purpose.
Confession of a father of two. Finding time to blog gets slightly more difficult with a second child. So. Here's other fun events of Cooper's day
We got literate (apparently encouraging illiteracy in your children is frowned upon) by going to story time this morning. Coop stayed awake for most of it, and he maybe even enjoyed one of the songs. A couple shorter (the last couple days it has been harder to get him asleep, and even harder keeping him asleep) afternoon naps, and a trip to market night were Cooper's big events of the day. There were quite a few smiles today and a suprisingly large amount of alert time. He also continues to be a pro (at least for a 3 week old) at holding his head up. Way to go Cooper.
He did also voice his appreciation for all the great time Auntie Jill and Uncle Mike spent with him. It has been a lot of help having them here.
Real life success story: We have now effectively fed, bathed, changed, and clothed two children for 26 days. BE INSPIRED!
more to come soon.....Fourth of July style
