For everyone, but as a college student especially, this is a thing of nightmares. After Natalie spent half an hour trying to gather and upload these pictures, and myself spending 45 minutes constructing a witty and biting yet insightful and thorough blog, the unthinkable happened. At 1:42 a.m. I accidentally deleted everything that had been done so far and in the process of trying to undo it on this computer that I'm not used to, I left the page thus making a simple "undo" impossible. At least for my non tech savy self. So... just like in the world cup when they look back at the losing team's journey and find a fateful turning point, I now look back at all those times while I was writing the blog and a pop up kept coming up saying that it was unable to save my progress and simply shake my head. Oh the things I do for my beloved niece and nephew. So to all of those anxiously awaiting a detailed update of their day, oops. Sorry. But because it goes along with this oops so well, I will include one story that I had coincidentally left out of the other blog. Today Kylie found a sea shell on the beach and when we went down to the water to wash it off Kylie got scared of the big waves and wanted me to pick her up. Well, in my rush I set down the shell and just then the water came rushing over my feet an in an instant, just as with the blog, the shell was gone. Again I say oops! I guess today's lesson is that accidents happen. I'm not up to rewriting the whole thing tonight, but I'm carefully stowing away the good parts in my mind so that I can do a little something tomorrow. For now, I'll leave you with some picture highlights of the day and bid you farewell.
(Hopefully) More to Come Soon :-)
