Bath time outside today :o)

I was determined to stick around the house today, so we did. I didn't get out of my pj's until about 6pm and it was wonderful. Kylie and Cooper woke up around 8am, we let Doe sleep in until about 9:30. We spent a little time talking to Ama and Papa via FaceTime then headed down stairs for breakfast. We had a lazy day of playing, laundry and a little visit to play with Portia and Nico. Lunch time and a nice long nap for Doe and Ky. Cooper slept for a little while but was not interested in being put down, so I was not as productive as I would have liked, but I am also trying to soak in all the one-on-one time I have with him since I feel like my attention still goes to Kylie more often.

This evening I decided we would try a new technique for bath time...we filled up the kiddy pool in the front yard and had a big outdoor bubble bath. We took the little whale tub out there for Coopie too and Portia came over and joined us. It was going well until we started trying to get her hair wet, she freaked out again and cried. Overall it was a little better then the previous few bath times, but we still had tears followed by her asking us "why I not like to get my hair washed?" We wonder the very same thing little one.

We ate dinner and then got ready to head down to the bowl. Tonight was a dance company, I didn't realize it until we were there 40 minutes after it had started. It made me a little sad that I didn't work to get us out of the house sooner, I miss dancing so much, it was wonderful to watch the performance. Kylie did her own dance show on the grass for us, she just loves being outside and running around. Cooper was happy to be stretched out on his blanket, kicking and cooing for most of the show.

We headed home, Kylie decided she wanted to sleep in Doe's bed again and Craig fell asleep on the floor in the living room. I have some work ahead of me getting those two in to the correct beds :o)
Cooper is sleeping right now next to my on the daybed in the guestroom. He is such a sweet little boy. He nursed a lot today and had a couple very fussy times, I wonder if he is hitting another growth spurt, I am already getting his 6 month clothes out and washed. With the cloth diapers he is starting to fill out his 3 month clothing, a few of his outfits look like muscle man shirts because they are so tight.

I am back to running the breastfeeding group tomorrow morning, I am hoping I can make it there in one piece (I'm sure I will with the help of Doe and Craig, but I want to try and do it on my own). Here are a few photos from yesterday and today, enjoy :o)

Even Portia's run with the shampoo was not enough to convince Kylie to wash her hair.

Happy happy baby in the little tub, he must have stayed in the water for a good 20 minutes and was still happy when I took him out. I think we have found another good activity for the hot summer days.
