Honorary Auntie Here...

Hey y'all,
Auntie Liz here! What a day we had at Beach...well, when we finally got there. As the days pass, our mornings at the house seem to linger on. We all made it to the beach about noon and Kylie was more than ready to be there. Her first stop of course was the swings with Doe (Auntie Quin) and Lala (Auntie Lane) and Cooper was content to be in the arms of just about anyone (as always). Kylie came very close to getting on the kayak today, but took one look at the waves and decided it just didn't feel right after all...maybe tomorrow. She took a walk to find the "squishies" (Sea Anemones) with Lala and Al (Auntie Alisa) and enjoyed her on-land adventure. Meanwhile, Super Cooper was doing his thing back at camp; nursing, pooping, napping, repeat. Auntie Jill played with Kylie in the sand for a long time today giving Kylie's fairy a bath and trying to convince Kylie that the fairy L-O-V-E-D to have her hair washed. I don't think it worked, but it was a great effort on Jill's part!

Later in the evening, Cooper went on an adventure with Mommy and Auntie Tay to take maternity pictures of Jon, Kristine and baby Maddie and Liz and Dave. He was quite the trooper, wrapped around Mommy, nursing on the go, and letting us take lots of gorgeous pictures! It's been really fun to see Jon enjoy time with Cooper as he prepares to be a father for the first time, he kept Coop company while Mommy finished taking pictures of Kristine and her 6 month belly. I got to carry Cooper back to the car, strap him in and keep him company in the back seat; we've definitely become buds. When we got back to the house, Auntie Liz was even able to change his diaper and keep him happy all the while! It was a small victory, but a victory none the less!

It has been such a pleasure to spend this week with these kiddos and their awesome parents, they make it look so easy! Thanks for letting me be a part of your lives, even if only for a week or so at a time, every moment is precious to me. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Kylie come out of her shell since last year at Beach, she is so talkative and comfortable around us all. Her memory is impeccable and I am grateful for it considering we only get to see her a few times a year. Cooper, I hope we get to watch you grown up just as often as Sissy, if not more! Here are some pictures from today's adventure, enjoy!

Love Always,
Liz
