Reluctantly, Nat packed her bags tonight (yes. she needs more than one for work these days) and headed to the hospital. Luckily, I got the night off...oh wait! the phone just rang. It was work and they need me to come in. I guess my night off just got reduced to an hour off. Oh Well...at least it gave me time to write about little miss muffet may's day.
From what I hear, (you don't experience much first hand when you sleep all day) Kylie had some fun hanging out with Mimi and Papa this afternoon. Nat went world class photographer and took some maternity pictures for her friend Raquel today. Every great photographer needs a second, but not usually one that has to be held, changed, and fed the entire shoot. Someday Kylie....someday.
Instead, she ate and played with grandpa and grandma until it was time to go see the show. Show? What show? THE show! the one where auntie Melissa gets her nursing cap and pledges to save the world, one patient at at time. Kylie thought it was pretty fun to be in a room full of people, singing and clapping. Her shining moment though, literally, was watching Melissa light her nursing candle (don't get too excited pyros...it was fake) and walk up on stage. Kylie was impressed.
The big family dinner tonight (there always has to be a big family dinner) was at Benjarong. Kylie ran into her great grandpa and grandma there (surprise), and she got to see Tim and Cathy (Tim was slaving away behind the bar). Thanks Aunt Cathy for touring Kylie around for half an hour so we could all eat. :-) A hearty meal of lentils, pasta, and white rice gave the Mayflower all she could handle, and now she is nestled up at granpa and grandma's sleeping and dreaming I'm sure.
