Kylie May sees some familiar faces today 343

Kylie started this morning like every other Friday morning, yoga class, home for a nap (while I spent time with Jon and Raquel, talking about labor and birth), up for lunch, play time with Auntie Melissa. Next stop, a quick trip with grandpa to visit the great-grandparents for a little bit (while I went to teach) then back to take a nap with Grandma. When Kylie woke up she took a nice walk back home and this is when the day started to get interesting. At about 5 pm Craig woke up, Kylie was so happy to see him. At about 5:30 Grandma Diana, Auntie Lane and Auntie Quin walked in the door. Although it took a couple minutes, Kylie eventually smiled and was also happy to see them. About 10 minutes later Uncle Kyle made his appearance, once slightly apprehensive, but happy to see him. 15 minutes later the pizza delivery man arrived, Kylie was not so sure about him, but he wasn't coming to stay so he seemed ok.

It didn't take long for all the wonderful Christmas memories to come rushing back to Kylie, she sat in the middle of the living room and clapped her hands and smiled and squealed when everyone imitated her and cheered "yay." She enjoyed showing off her crawling skills and walking with her wagon. She was just getting used to having an additional 4 members of the family around when there was another knock at the door. A few friends from work were on their way to the Brandin Iron and decided to swing by, say "Hi" to Kylie and warm up their dancing shoes. After Kylie showed them all her best dance moves they were on their way to tear up the floor at the BI. While Diana, Kyle and I visited in the kitchen, Kylie enjoyed getting horsey back rides and walking laps around the house with her Aunties. Then it was time for another snack, a warm bath, a little more play time and finally bed. I'm sure Kylie will be excited when she wakes tomorrow to find all her visitors still her. I am so thankful they came to visit, it is so wonderful to see each of them and it is so wonderful for Kylie to spend time with them.

This morning Kylie decided that pushing one of her toys was just not good enough anymore and she decided she needed to push both. Surprisingly she did really well, he balance gets better everyday.
