Kylie May welcomes baby Sky to the world today 336

This morning at 4:05am a new baby entered the world. Our wonderful friends Niels and Marisa welcomed their third beautiful child to their family, a little boy named Sky. I was lucky enough to be able to take some photos of this amazing family this morning. When I came back, Kylie and I headed to yoga class then on a little shopping spree. It was very cold and rainy today, so we headed home and climbed in bed with Craig and took a nice long nap. I put all the photos from the morning on a disk and Kylie and I headed to visit the new baby and deliver the disk. It was interesting to see Kylie look at such a small, new baby. I think she was frustrated because we would not let her get to close to him, she kept giving him very dirty looks, silly girl. We then headed to my parents for an amazing dinner. Our German friends took a cooking class while they were in Bali and decided to recreate the masterpiece for us. It was delicious!!! Then the four of us girls headed to the Brandin Iron and did a little dancing. Kylie fell asleep quickly for my parents and when I got her home she went down pretty well for me too. It was actually interesting, she usually nurses to sleep and I have to work hard to sneak away, but tonight she tossed and turned and put herself in a funny position on her back on me. I thought she was just playing around but then she stopped moving and sure enough a few minutes later she was fast asleep. She is growing so fast, it is unreal, she loves giving high fives and pretending to feed her baby doll. I think we will get her some more dramatic play items for her birthday, she seems to really enjoy pretending.

One year ago today,  it has gone by so fast.

Sunny (25 months), Marisa, Raine (4 years), Niels and Sky (4 hours old)

Raine wanted to hold Sky all day today, she is so happy to have a new baby brother.

I love getting to cuddle with this sweet baby every night!
