The first day of February and it is almost 80 degrees, I love Southern California. Today Kylie and I got up to greet Craig when he got home, we had a yummy breakfast all together (including Tim, Melissa's boyfriend who is here visiting) then Kylie and I headed to yoga. We decided to make the yoga class for 0-1 year old. We had a good time, there were two other moms with babies, Kylie just loves being around other little ones. We came home for a nap then lunch with Papa at Chipotle, Kylie got black bean and cheese, which she enjoyed almost as much as the people watching. Then it was a trip to the grocery store to stock up on all the essentials, including bananas, which Kylie insists on snacking on while we shop. Next stop home to unload groceries and strap Kylie into the Ergo for a nice walk around the neighborhood. Very short nap, play time with Auntie Melissa and Uncle Tim, hanging out with Papa while Mommy fixed dinner and a delicious dinner as a family. Bath time for our little one (Craig was leaving while she was in the bath, she waved as he said good bye, then, although it could have been coincidence, she said "ba ba da da" which sure seemed like "bye bye da da" to us) and bed time, so we thought. After 30 min of trying to get her to relax and rest we decided we might as well get up and play and have another bite to eat. During her second dinner, she surprised us all by giving both Tim and Melissa high-5's. She has not really done this before, at least not on purpose, but she was very purposeful tonight. She would high-5 them, then clap for herself, gotta love her! She played for another 1.5 hours before deciding that she was, in fact, very sleepy.
More to come soon,
Natalie
