Kylie May plays at the mall today 339

Today was such a fun day! Kylie had a chiropractor apt in the morning, we came home for a nap then headed to the Inland Center Mall. This mall is in San Bernardino and has not always had the best reputation, but over the past few years it has become home to some good stores. The mall has an awesome children's play area and today Kylie got to visit it for the first time. I was not sure how she would do, there were a lot of kids there, the age range was pretty big, about 9 months to 12 years. The play area has a very padded floor and different items to climb on, crawl under and slide down. When we first arrived we sat along the side and just watched, Kylie looked intrigued. Within about 3 minutes she was down and crawling, here are photos from our adventure, she had SO much fun, I can't wait to take her again.

Kylie was able to climb up these steps (with me right behind her the whole time) and she went down the slide a couple times.

Next she met a little boy who just turned one, they had the same amount of mobility, so she enjoyed crawling around after him. In this photo she was touching his hair and laughing.

I didnt know if she would like to climb through the tunnels, but she did it with no hesitation and loved it.

So proud of herself for making it through.

Climbing through the tunnel under the slide. a little while later another child was sitting in this tunnel, Kylie didn't care, she climbed through and right over the other little girls lap, silly Kylie.

"What should I do next mom?"

Kylie had so much fun, she was not scared of the other kids running around and she really enjoyed getting to crawl and climb. A little girl about 10 years old took to Kylie and played with her the whole time. She told me that she liked Kylie and wished that Kylie lived with her at her house, so sweet. I hope we can go back and play again soon. Kylie had such a good experience, I stayed close by so she could check in often and I think that helped her feel safe. She played for a while and had so much fun I thought she might have a hard time leaving. She was not thrilled about getting packed up, but once I put her back in the sling and we were walking she was ok.

This afternoon Kylie got to have a quick play date with the girls next door. Michelle is now 9.5 months and crawling everywhere. It was fun to see them play together, we hope to have another play date with them some time soon.

This evening Kylie walked back and forth across the living room with her wagon. My sister sat on one side, me on the other and we just kept turning her around. She is so sweet, we would turn her around, ask her for a kiss, she would give us a kiss then start babbling and walk across the room, get turned around, give another kiss and head back. I don't know how it's possible, but we fall more in love with her everyday.
