It was 9:00am before Kylie or I opened our eyes this morning, it was the first time I can genuinely say I woke up feeling like I had a good night of sleep, I was well rested and ready to start the day. The cherry on top was a delicious breakfast ready and waiting for us, thank you wonderful husband! After eating a wonderful breakfast we scrambled like crazy to get ourselves out the door for story time at Barnes and Noble at 10. Needless to say we were late :o( and missed two of the three stories. We did, however, stay and play with the trains again. Kylie enjoyed crawling around the kids section of the book store while I looked at a few possible additions to our personal library. She enjoyed crawling around so much, that when it was time to go, and I picked her up, she threw her body backward and yelled, a little mini fit. She did this multiple times today, although we both slept in, she was acting like she was still very sleepy, poor girl. We ran one more quick errand then we headed back home. Miss May fell asleep in the car, so we hung out in the car until she woke up. I have been successful a few times when it comes to moving Kylie out of her car seat, but it just didn't seem worth the risk today.
We had a yummy lunch then grandpa came over and took Kylie to visit her great-grandparents while I went to the dance studio. We all made it back home and Kylie had a snack and play time with Auntie Melissa while I took a few family photos for our neighbors. Dinner didn't make it to the table in time for Craig to enjoy it with us :o( so Kylie and I had a dinner date, just the two of us and Craig headed to work (I hope he has found time to eat). One week from today will be Craig's first day off since he started this crazy overtime. We are planning a date night to celebrate our survival, I can hardly wait.
More to come soon,
Natalie
P.S. For the past week Kylie has been uninterested in having her hair tied back in bows or hair ties. I am amazed it is back in these photos, I think about 30 sec. after I took them she pulled her bow out. We will need to get her bangs cut soon, poor things can't hardly see when her hair is down, but she won't have it any other way.

This is the look she gives us when she sees something she wants, in this case, my phone. |
