Kylie May's relaxed Wednesday 216

Today was a typical Wednesday for our little May flower. She woke up right between Mommy and Daddy and showed off all her best tricks, sitting up, rolling over, scooting around in a circle, laughing, talking, pulling on everything, trying to eat everything, and her latest, pulling down Mommy shirt and helping herself to breakfast. It's mornings like this that make us want to stay in bed and play forever. But we did eventually get up and have some breakfast, play a little more, take a nap, eat lunch (which included zucchini which she actually seemed to like today), walk to the store,  and play some more.

The most exciting part of Kylie's day was the addition of another new food. Today she had yellow squash, and she liked it! She has been really great about trying new foods and today was no different. We sat her down for dinner with squash, sweet potatoes, brown rice and avocado. She was one happy girl, she ate almost every bit and would have had more avocado had we let her get her hands on it. She was not a big fan of being fed the avocado with her spoon, oh no, she wanted to bite it out of the shell herself. It was actually very cute, I would peel back a little bit of the shell, exposing the meat, she would take it with her little hands and using those two little teeth, scrape a little bit off. At one point she got a bigger piece that she could handle and just about choked when she swallowed it. That's when I decided we had had enough fun for one night and it was now bath time.

She came to the dance studio with me again tonight. She sat in the lobby and watched my line dance class, I swear it looks like she is making mental notes of the dances, just waiting for the day she is coordinated enough to jump right in. Right now she is fast asleep, I love looking at her little face when she sleeps, she still looks like a little newborn and not a big 7 month old. Time has gone to fast, I can see why people have more then one, I am already looking forward to doing this all again someday.

More to come soon,
Natalie
