Kylie May had a relaxing day 225

Although Kylie's day is full of many fun activities (i.e. eating, reading, playing, sitting, scooting, laughing, babbling etc...) today I felt like I caught her doing one activity more then others...sleeping. When I got home from work she was cuddled up with her daddy, at some point she ended up back in bed with me, then there was the afternoon nap (once again with her daddy) and when I got home from teaching at the BI, there she was again, fast asleep with Craig. I have to admit I was a little jealous, usually I am the one that gets to cuddle with our little pumpkin while she sleeps, but today it was all about napping in the arms of her loving daddy.

Since we both had time off today we decided to take the opportunity to enjoy the amazing weather and walk downtown. We got ice cream, went to the bank and sat in the park. While we were at the park a very cute 2 year-old came up to Kylie. Kylie was so excited and of course wanted to grab her hands and touch her face. This would have been your typical "baby meets toddler" interaction where they just look at each other and in a few minutes they move on, but Kylie surprised us (once again). The little girl, Olivia, decided that she liked us enough to start showing off her dance moves, she gave us one big spin and Kylie gave us a huge belly laugh. It was so funny. So Olivia spun around again and Kylie laughed even harder. It was so great to see them interacting, Olivia dancing and Kylie laughing genuine belly laughs. We tried to get it on video, but of course just getting out the camera put a damper on the moment. But none-the-less it was pretty cute to see Kylie entertained by another little babe.

One other small highlight of the day, we found Kylie a Halloween costume. Drum roll please...For Kylie's 1st Halloween she will be...a little cow! Yep that's right, we found the cutest little cow outfit that we think will be perfect for our little one. We also found a little monkey, dog, deer and lion, but the cow won. Craig and I are planning on dressing up as farmers, it should be fun. Craig and I are both home tonight, it is so great to have our little family all home safe and sound.

More to come soon,
Natalie
