Kylie May's 4 Month Birthday 123

Happy Birthday to you Kylie! Usually you have to wait until you turn 21 to start drinking out of shot glasses, but not you little one. That's right, today Kylie had her first shot, of breast milk that is. Let me explain... Melissa and I were eating breakfast, Kylie was sitting in her Bumbo watching us. She has been very interested in our drinks, especially when its water in a glass. So we start thinking, what can we give Kylie to drink so she feels like a big girl? I know, expressed breast milk! Now what can we give it to her in? We don't have any little cups, and I don't really want to waste to much milk...(light bulb) a shot glass would be perfect! And it was. She enjoyed feeling like a big girl getting to drink out of her own little cup. She didn't actually drink very well, most of it ended up down her front but she had fun.

The rest of the day consisted of running errands, Kylie was such a good little shopper. I think her and I will be good shopping buddies when she gets a little older. We made it back home for a nap, some play time with dad, another nap, dinner with Melissa and a walk to my parents. Two fun things happened at my parents...(1) I got to see Kylie's birth video, my sister has been working very hard to put together a video of Kylie's birth that would be appropriate to show family (and anyone else who wants to see it). She has done an amazing job, there is beautiful music, it is artistic and tasteful, I am so happy with it and cant wait to show everyone (2) Kylie rolled from her tummy to her back! Yep we were just doing a little tummy time and she decided it was over, she rolled herself right over, it was great! We were so excited we put her back on her tummy and she did it again. Two times is all we got, but it was fun.

This afternoon Kylie also found a new sound. She started talking up a storm. I hope you can view the video, she is just so fun. These first 4 months have been awesome, we love you little one.
