Today was a big day for little Miss May. She spent some time with Mimi and Papa and hanging out with her daddy before he left for work. This evening is when the adventure really got going. Kylie and I went to Riverside to attend Christian's kindergarten graduation. I don't remember there being a big to-do when I finished kindergarten, but let me tell you, his school went all out. All the little ones looked so cute in their caps and gowns, candy lei's on and more proud parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles/friends then you could count. After the quick ceremony and a few photos we headed back to Janelle and Patrick's house. We had a wonderful meal with a lot of their family. It was so fun to spend some with Christian, Sophie and Benjamin. Benja is now walking! I can't believe how big he is. Sophie enjoyed having another little girl around, she kept coming up to Kylie and kissing her and smiling at her. It was a great evening, Kylie did very well until we were getting ready to leave. She was sleepy, already in her pjs and she fell asleep nursing. Needless to say she was not happy about getting in the car for the drive home, she complained the whole way, it broke my heart. Once we got home and I picked her up she stopped crying and when I laid down with her in our bed she gave me a really big smile right before she started nursing. She was asleep in about 1 min.
Overall a fun filled day, the next few days will be busy too, I hope we don't push our little one to much, she is so sweet, we sometimes forget she is still so new.
More to come,
Natalie
