64th Day for Kylie May

Natalie again, this is night two (of three) for Craig. My sister, Melissa, has been living with us while she attends nursing school, but tonight she is also gone :o( She is visiting her boyfriend in Arizona for the next few days which leaves Kylie and I here alone in the evening. I have never been a big fan of being home alone and nothing has changed, Kylie on the other hand doesn't seem to mind very much. Luckily grandma and grandpa are right down the road if we need anything, thank goodness!

Kylie and I spent the first part of the day hanging out and nursing a lot. She has been sleeping more at night (6 hours in a row almost every night now, ya!) so I think she is making up for it during the day. With her spending so much time nursing I end up finding ways to entertain myself. Today I'm sure I resembled a mama chimpanzee or gorilla. There I sat on the floor, legs crossed, nursing Kylie while I picked at the little bits of dirt between her fingers and the flakes of dry skin in her hair. I gave her a complete grooming just short of eating everything I picked off her :o) Grandpa came over so I could get a shower in and get us ready to run some errands. The first errands was to Costco. This was Kylie's first trip to Costco, she was very surprised to see that not only are there great deals on all sorts of household essentials and food, but there are also great deals on cute kids clothes and awesome toys! I have already started the "I can't wait to get this for her when shes older" list, and the first thing on the list is an awesome swing set.

We got home with enough time to hang out with Daddy for a bit before he went in to work. Grandma and Grandpa then came over to spend a little more time with Kylie while I went to teach at the Brandin Iron. Kylie did pretty well and was asleep when I got home, she has been very restless so I am sitting with her while I write. I think she might be going through a little growth spurt, she has been eating more and seems to be a little more uncomfortable.

It is just so amazing to be home with her everyday, I love it. She has so many cute moments and fun expressions. As she gets older I feel like she is starting to understand when I leave and that is so hard. This evening she just wanted to be close to me, she was fussy unless I was holding her, its like she knew, and when I handed her to my mom she gave me such a sad look, it broke my heart. It's just going to get harder and harder to leave her, I can't imagine when I will do when she actually cries or asks me to stay. I will probably just quit all me jobs and never leave her :o)
