Kylie May goes and goes Day 359

Nat made the comment this morning that she is "falling more in love with Kylie every day." I would agree.  She is getting sweeter, cuter, and more fun by the day.  As we laid in bed watching her sleep it was hard for us to believe that she is already so big and has such an in depth personality.  I think when we look at her, we both still feel like she should be that little newborn that was born in our kitchen.  Not to sound like a broken record (you know. That vinyl thing that spins round and round. Wait. How do I even know what it is?), but, the time has flown by.

Despite our love and amazement with Kylie, Nat and I can't get over one thing.  It is exhausting keeping up with her. :-)  I'm sure anyone reading this who is a parent is saying, "just wait until you have a second one".  Haha. I can't even imagine.  I literally felt like I spent the entire day in the kitchen.  Every time I turned around she was hungry again, and I was scrounging to throw some food together.  Oh. The teenage years will be a treat.  Anyone know a personal chef who would be willing to work for, oh.... 2 dollars an hour?  I'll keep looking.

In the midst of keeping our tiny tot fed, dry, and rested we had a funny moment.  Kylie and I were crawling (yes, both of us) around the backyard, learning how to navigate stairs on our bellies.  While doing this, I picked up a stray rubber band that was laying around.  I started shooting it up in the air (you know. off my thumb and fore finger), and when it landed Kylie started laughing like she'd seen the funniest thing in the world.  Needless to say we repeated this game until she was tired of laughing and my fingers were tired of shooting.  Watching her belly laugh like that though, is just another one of those things that makes all the exhaustion wisp away.  Thanks for the laughs little monkey May.

more to come soon,

Craig
