Kylie May the power was out today! 310

When I have to go to work and be away from my little angle for the night, one of the things I look forward to is reading the blog (I'm sure many of you can relate). I anxiously wait for it to appear even though I actually lived the day with her, I love reading Craig's creative way of describing her experiences. Last night I was reading about her little teeth coming through and how hard it is to describe what teeth have now appeared, it was so hard to describe, that Craig actually described it wrong :o) Until yesterday, Kylie had 4 teeth, 2 top, 2 bottom. Now she has 2 on the top and 4 on the bottom, yep, two more just peeking through on either side of her first teeth. One of her top teeth looks like it may make an appearance soon, but nothing has come through yet. She started biting me again a few days ago, when we felt her teeth yesterday it all made more sense. So now everyone is up to date on Kylie's teeth count, it's crazy to think there will come a day when we are counting these teeth as she looses them, wow.

It was one full day for Miss May. Woke up around 8, (she smile she gives me when I walk in the door from work has got to be one of the best things in the world) went to church with her daddy while mommy got some sleep. Kylie loves the childcare at church, almost all the kids are close to her age, she just can't get enough. Came home to nurse then took a walk to Papa's with Auntie Melissa. It was some time this morning that our power was turned off. We had been given forewarning that this might happen and if it did it would be between 8am and 4pm. So it did and we made do this afternoon as we got ready to attend Lulu and Tilly's first birthday.  Kylie, Melissa and I attended this baby filled event and had so much fun! Our friend Emily gave birth to these sweet twins, Lulu (Eloise) and Tilly (Matilda) when they were about 25weeks along. They spent their first months of life in the NICU and have done amazingly well. It was so fun to spend time with them. Although Kylie is technically 2 months younger, she sure looks like a big girl next to these two sweeties.

After the party we returned to a dark, and slightly cool, house. We climbed in bed with Craig (who was taking a nap before work tonight) and enjoyed a little nap together. When we woke it was 5 pm and still dark! What? The power was supposed to be on by 4! Craig called and we were told it would be on by 6 for sure. So Melissa and I decided to go to a yoga event (which was amazing!) and Craig took Kylie to another fun night of Dodge Ball!! Craig did not get a call from work so he thought he was going to get to stay home tonight, but apparently they had put him on the schedule and were expecting him, so at about 7:10 they called to ask where he was, ahhhhh. At this point we still didn't have any power!!! So Craig took Kylie to my dads, got ready in a dark, cold house and run to work. Melissa and I went to my dad's after yoga and started making plans to stay the night, but when we came home to gather our things (around 8:15pm) the power was back on! I have no idea what some of our neighbors did, the whole block was out and although it is  back on now, it looks like some of our neighbors found other places to stay tonight.

Sorry this was so long, more to come tomorrow,
Natalie
My sleeping angles (from yesterday)

Neither of them seemed especially excited about the cakes, but they had a little taste eventually

Kylie loved the balloons and I just love her feet in this one.
