After a late night for Miss May, we expected she might sleep in a little bit. Not so much. She was us bright and early with a smile on her face at about 7:00. After playing with some books, and her dolly, we decided to get up, have some breakfast and get ready for the day. We had planned to go to the library (I had actually been looking forward to it all week) but it was cold and rainy outside and it didn't take long for Kylie to decide she needed to go back to bed. So she napped and we took a rain check on the library. When she woke up it was time to eat and play, and do a mini photo shoot in the front yard. I am creating a flyer for my "Movement and More" class and decided to put Kylie and I on the front. So we took some yoga pose photos, it was fun. Then I went to the dance studio and Auntie Melissa and Grandpa played with Kylie so daddy could get some sleep before work tonight.
This afternoon Kylie woke up to a visit from her buddy Jackson. We have not seen Jax or his mommy, Gina, in about a month and boy is Jax getting big! He is one month younger then Kylie and every time we get together Jax and Kylie seem to have more and more fun with each other. Jax is starting to stand on his own and enjoyed standing and holding some of Kylie's walking toys. Kylie enjoyed the way Jax's outfit felt, she kept petting his arm and leg, so cute.
After all the playing and eating a big dinner, our little monkey was sleepy, so sleepy that we decided to forgo the bath and head straight to bed. She has been sleeping well, we will see what the rest of the night brings.
