It may be January but that doesn't stop the outdoor play dates. Nope. Not when the sun is shining and it's 76 degrees outside. Raine and Sunny Lou came a knocking and Kylie answered the call. We loaded the new Radio Flyer wagon full of kids (it's essential to stuff as many kids as you can while it's still new) and headed out for a lunch/ice cream afternoon. Kylie thought it was great fun to ride in the wagon and talk with the big girls. Granted, the big girls couldn't understand a word she said, but they enjoyed talking back anyway. Our wagon proved to be quite handy at holding our diaper bag and one child. Keeping three kids in a wagon for any length of time is almost impossible. Of course the big trip wore everyone out, and they were all ready for a nice nap after it.
The rest of the day was business as usual. Kylie is getting braver by the day, as she starts to get close to walking. She is now trying to stand up on her own (without something to hang on to) and letting go to transfer from one place to another. We already know the end to this crazy walking saga, but seeing it all play out still shocks and surprises us.
She is 10 months old today, where has the time gone?
more to come soon,
Craig
