The time off during the holidays has segued into the wild work weeks of January and February. AS if family time wasn't already precious enough we now find ourselves in the midst of a stretch where Nat or I work everyday from now until February 16. Tonight Nat works, but today...oh today. The three of us got to have a a fun afternoon outing of Target, sushi (Kylie only looked at us like we were gross), naps, and the toy store. For some this might be a typical Saturday. For us? Priceless afternoon together that has come all to infrequently lately.
Why the big outing? Well because we had time of course. More importantly, however, it was because we had to celebrate Kylie getting two new teeth. That's right! Two! The problem we are getting into with the teeth thing is the technicality of what they are actually called. When the first couple come in that's easy. "The top front...duh". Now it's like head to the corner tooth, hang a left, follow the north star for one click and then you'll see the new tooth. If you followed those simple instructions you would have wound up seeing the top teeth on either side of her two front ones. Don't know what that will do for her eating, but maybe now she'll actually chew a few more blueberries instead of just swallowing them whole. Time will tell.
Well Nat is off to work, I'm off to get dinner ready, and Kylie is off to wreak some havoc on the world (In a good way of course).
