Kylie made her first banana bread

Kylie is a confusing little girl...last night she slept well, she came to our bed this morning and nursed and fell back to sleep, yay. I figured the good night sleep would mean a good day today, but not so much. Now don't get me wrong, Kylie is a wonderful little girl and most of the day still went well, but she was really fussy, defiant, aggressive and wanted to nurse a lot (the way she gets when she is tired). This morning she helped me make some banana bread, she was so excited and honestly very helpful. Then while we are waiting for the bread to bake, I make us a yummy breakfast with 3 items she likes and always eats, she gets mad, kicking and yelling and trying to throw her breakfast plate. Ok, no problem, she can eat when she gets hungry, then she is pulling on my shirt, whining for na na's. Then two seconds later she is happy and playing with her toys and eating her breakfast. I can hardly keep up with her, I have a feeling the teenage years will be somewhat similar :o)

This morning I had a chance to visit with a friend of mine, she is a doctor at Loma Linda and will be moving in a couple weeks :o( She is a wonderful Dr and she will be missed so much! She brought her beautiful daughter over for a play date while we visited, it was so fun. Lunch, nap time, laundry. Then it was time to take a few photos of Nico! Nico is 6 months old and such a happy, beautiful baby. It was fun to capture a few photos of him with his mommy and big sister.

This evening Kylie enjoyed Country music at the bowl while Cooper and I taught childbirth class. Craig decided to stay late at work so I picked up Kylie from my parents and headed home to try and get both kids in bed. All was going well, I was nursing both of them, Coop fell asleep, then about 15 minutes later Ky was asleep, yes! As I got out of bed Coop woke up, I tried to get him back to sleep, but that was not happening. Then he had a huge blow out, gas for a good couple minutes, it just kept coming and coming, poor guy. After I changed his diaper, he nursed and was ready to go to sleep. I was just getting out of bed, after he fell asleep, and heard Kylie calling for me, ahh, so I went back into the guest room and nursed her again. I finally tip toed out around 11:40...Just as I was typing Kylie called out again, I checked on her and she was just talking in her sleep, checked in on Coopie and he was tossing around with his eyes open. But once again, both are asleep, now I have to get ready for bed and clean this house as fast as I can, who knows when one of them will be up again :o)
