Cooper's Hot August Day

When actually getting out of the house is the highlight of your day, it says one of two things about you: 1) You enjoy your home and live a less than Beiberesque social life, or 2) you have multiple children.  While I'm not entirely ruling out number 1 as a possibility, it is safe to say that number 2 (No Dr. Evil...not your number 2) is the culprit in our house.

Where did we go? Glad I asked for you.  We had family church day.  Cooper still doesn't love Shelby (the service dog from church) as much as Ky, but he will grow into it I'm sure.  Instead, Cooper mainly goes for the free caffeine and sugar rush. I wish we could say his Tuesday AA appearances were for the same reason, but alas, no.  Those are court mandated.   Now that confessions of a two month old are over, back to church.  As difficult as getting everyone somewhere by 8:30am is, it has been fun to get to spend some designated family time on Sundays.  Kylie still loves singing and dancing to all the songs, and Coop doesn't seem to mind at all.

Eat...play...diaper....sleep. Eat...play...diaper...sleep.  Come on. Repeat after me, eat...play...diaper...sleep.  I just keep hoping if I say it enough it might become my reality too.   As Kylie entertained young Zachary Coop just repeated his cycle. While Kylie splashed, laughed, and played in her little pool....the little one repeated his cycle. This evening we had a great visit and dinner with one of my old friends from the University of Hawaii days (Mike Buchannan), and yes, The mini motor repeated his cycle.  Then, after Mike left, Cooper shocked the nation, and repeated his cycle.

Good day for Coop, fun day for the Ky May, relaxing day for Nat and I. Win win.

More to come soon,

Craig

Kylie's take on hostage negotiations.  "If you don't release that man, I will stuff this entire watermelon into my mouth! Yes all at once! Just try me! I dare you!"
