Today Craig went to school and I taught my first day of community gero clinical. The kids were with Ama and Papa all morning. Then Ama could not find coopers shoes this morning, she decided that a trip downtown to buy new shoes was a priority. Cooper now has some fancy big boys shoes that are super cute. He loves them and wore them all day.
This afternoon we got a visit from my good friend Liz and her son Zachary. They made the trip to Redlands for some Oak Glen apples and we were lucky enough to convince them to stay the night with us. Taralyn and Max also came over in the evening. We had a big family dinner, taco night! Craig was a master chef and put together an amazing dinner, I am such a lucky woman to be married to such a talented guy. We ate in the back yard, it was a warm and beautiful evening. Then it was time to head down to market night. The kids rode the pony, Kylie got her arm painted and we bought some delicious strawberries. We also made a little stop to A La Minute for ice cream, yum. The kids fell asleep on the way home and Liz and I enjoyed staying up visiting way too late :o)
Tomorrow we host a play date, so I am hoping I can keep our house somewhat clean until everyone shoes up. I spent a good 5 hours today cleaning and it looks great! We will see how long it lasts for :o)
Kylie's hair! These are in reverse order, not sure why it uploads them like this...
Her first piggy tails with her short hair.
Nursing her baby outside Rachel's house.
The first time she saw her new hair cut and bangs.
All done!
Feeling how short it is mid cut.
This is me handing her the part of her pony tail that we cut off.
Wet and brushed out.
Good bye baby curls...
