This evening I had the opportunity to attend a screening of a movie "Dark Side of the Full Moon." This documentary was about postpartum depression and how many women are suffering and not getting the treatment they need. My mom and I attended the event and I am now feeling very motivated to make sure Loma Linda has resources for women that are suffering with PPD. I am hoping to start screening the women in my support group as well. It was a powerful and motivating movie.
Earlier today Craig was in school and Kylie, Cooper and I attended a play group at Ginny's house. Ginny is friends with Kara who we know from the dance studio and breastfeeding group. Ben is only one day younger then Cooper. We had fun up at her house today, the kids enjoyed playing in a pretend car and with the huge stuffed bear. Cooper squeezed a box drink and the stream of chocolate milk went about 2.5 feet high in the air before it came crashing down on his head. He just stood there covered in milk, milk dripping in hie eyes, down his arms, it was a mess. Needless to say he spent the rest of the play date in just a diaper.
The kids went to market night with Papa and Daddy. They got strawberries, rode the pony's (there was a new pony there tonight that Kylie rode, Chip) and Kylie got a painting of Elsa on her arm. Since both kids had a somewhat late nap, it took a while to get them down tonight, Craig was the first one to go to sleep :o)
Now its my turn, good night,
Natalie
Kylie and Mish singing into the sprinkler heads, giving us an amazing performance on their "stage."
Kylie being oh so sweet to Cooper and reading him his favorite book.
