This has been a busy week! We did photos at the breastfeeding support group and Halloween, it was so fun! I did more photos for Sunday's group too. I have been very busy with teaching and taking photos, I am really enjoying it!
Craig has his first exam this past week. It was in anatomy, 1 hour practical exam identifying body parts and about 4.5 hours of answering essay questions. I am amazed his brain could work for so long! So far he is really enjoying his classes, it is challenging, but interesting. He has also started playing softball on Tuesday nights with some of the guys from school. It is the prefect way to end his longest day at school. I am hoping to take the kids to watch him play one of these Tuesday's if I am not working.
My parents have been helping us out a ton! They are watching the kids often and it is going really well. Both Cooper and Kylie get so excited when I tell them that Ama and Papa are coming over, Cooper even started saying "Ama" this week. Which brings me to the next topic, Coopers language!
Cooper's language has been exploding lately, it is so fun to hear all he has to say. The other day he and Kylie were playing with a little doll that has a star on its tummy, Kylie pointed to it and said "star." Cooper repeated "star," he got so excited that he must have said it another 20 times "star, star, star..."Kylie was so sweet "ya Coopie, that's a star." That night (in the middle of the night, around 4am to be exact) Cooper started to fuss, I could tell he had a really wet diaper so I grabbed a diaper and preceded to change him while he was in our bed. Most of the time he fuses but keeps his eyes closed and I just nurse him back to sleep once he is changed. But this night his little eyes popped right open. He looked at me and smiled "mama" then started looking around "dada? dada?" once he spotted Craig he smiled and continued to call for Craig until he woke up. Then he looked at both of us and with a huge smile on his face, he said "star." "Yes Coopie, star, but its night night time and we need to go back to sleep." "star, star, star..." "Ok coopie lets look out the window and see if we can see a star." Craig and I just looked at each other and smiled, what could we do? He was so happy that both of us were home and cuddling with him, and he wanted to show off his new word. He preceded to continue going through all the words he knows how to say. It was so cute. But finally I just rolled over and told him I was going back to sleep. Cooper and Craig stayed up talking for a little longer then Craig told him good night too. I think it was about 45 minutes later that Cooper climbed on top of me and nursed back to sleep. We have not had a night like that with Cooper, but it was kinda fun to see him so excited about his new language skills.
Just tonight in the bath Kylie was giving Cooper a language lesson...
"Coopie say 'Ama'"
"Ama"
"Coopie say 'Papa'"
"Papa"
"Coopie say 'Mama'"
"Mama"
"Coopie say 'Dada'"
"Dada"
"Coopie say 'KyKy'"
"Noooo" he says with a smile.
This went on for a while, Kylie telling him to say different things, the words he knew well he would say, he would try a couple, but for the most part if he didn't know the word he would just smile at her and sweetly say "nooo." It is so fun watching them interact and play more together. When they are both in bed with us in the morning Cooper often climbs over to Kylie and hugs and kisses her. She just loves it!
Life is good and fun!

Story time
Oh this sweet angel.
Cuddling and watching Sesame Street. This lasted for just about 5 minutes, but it was sweet.
Morning play time, this was a couple days ago and they were having fun pulling the blankets up and then kicking their feet as fast as they could.
Coopers hair is getting long, it is always in his face, so lately he has been sporting a top pony. And yummy yogurt.
Kylie is "babysitting" Portia's tiny babies while they are in Europe. She is taking her job very seriously.
After our Halloween photo shoot, Cooper fell asleep in the car and I brought him in and he didn't wake at all, Kylie nursed for about 2 min and fell asleep, it had been a busy morning!
Cooper and Nico at Big Air. My dad joined me at Big Air to help me watch Nico and Portia too.
Our first night at Bible study this past Friday. We were doing a group activity and Cooper started looking through the kids Bible as if he was going to help us find the answer, so cute.
Last week Oma turned 83 and today my dad turned 63. We all enjoyed lunch together at Martha Greens and Cooper insisted on holding Oma's hand as we walked to the car.
My mom came to the photo shoot for a little bit and captured these cute photos of us!
More to come soon :)

Cooper's first time to the Pumpkin Patch!
I have slacked again, ugh. This past few days have been very fun! Craig has been busy with school and the kids and I have had a very busy social life.
On Friday we had a group trip to the Pumpkin Patch. It was so fun to hang out with the mommies and babies from group, outside the context of group. Kylie and Cooper had a great time. Kylie's favorite thing was feeding the goats. She loved feeding the very little baby ones, she would search for them and then follow them around trying to get them to eat the food from her before the big goats could get it. Cooper loved looking at all the "clucks" and ponies. Both kids enjoyed picking a little pumpkin and playing in the dirt.
On top of the hay stacks.
Cooper and Emery are so fun to watch, Emery is 20 months and Cooper is 16. They almost look like twins and they sure act like it.
Riding in the big wagon.
Learning about pumpkins.
Feeding time.
She followed this little guys around quite a bit.
Time to pick your pumpkin.
Many of the women from my Breastfeeding Support Group.
Kylie loved these...obviously...
Kylie, Cooper and Emery.
Kylie also loves picking up smaller children and seeing how fas she can carry them.
Ems and baby Owen.
Silly face (she insists on doing the silly face with every photo)
This makes my heart SO happy.
Looking at the baby roosters.
Selfie with my son.
Family selfie.
Silly face!
We had a wonderful time, I hope we can take the kids back again soon, they really enjoyed the adventure.
