Cooper said "Ky Ky" today!

Cooper is now 15 months old! He is such a joy! He has 13 teeth and is very good at climbing. He is able to get out of his high chair and loves to stand on it and smile. He can say many words and has sounds for others...he can say...
truck and trash truck
dada
mama
papa
ball
hot
book
cheese
bye
turtle
bath
back (when he wants to ride in the carrier on my back)
nah-nah (for nursing)

He has sounds for...
cat
dog
sheep
horse
lion
bear
bird
chicken
elephant
fire truck
and he make a fish face for fish

he is also using some sign language
 Please
thank you (sometimes)
more
all done
fish
dog
milk
food
diaper (sometimes)
and he pats his head which I think is his sign for being sleepy, but I am not 100% sure.

He is getting so good and communicating with us and it is so fun to see Kylie talking with him. She helps him practice "say turtle, come on coopie, say tur-tle."

This evening we all went out to dinner. Melissa, Tim and Anna were in town for a wedding this weekend and my mom just got back from a work trip. We headed to Eureka Burger and while we were there Cooper grabbed Papa's phone, pointed to the screen and said "Ky Ky" clear and say. Then he pointed to her and insisted that he go over and show her the phone. He must have said Ky Ky about 20 times, pointing at Kylie and then down to the phone. He even kissed the phone a few times and smiled SO big. Kylie gave him some real kisses and he beamed again.

Today he also got to spend time with his papa and ky at out for breakfast and then he and I ran some errands together. It is always fun to have some one on one time with him. He is still nursing like a champ, he sleeps in bed with Craig and I and we are cloth diapering about 50% of the time. Cooper does what we call his "happy dance" when he gets excited. It is often when Papa, Ama or a friend come to visit. He stomps his feet in place while he looks slightly down and spins in a circle, the whole time making excited screaming/squealing sounds. It is pretty darn cute!

I have missed out on a lot of fun stuff over the past 3 months, but I don't want to miss out on documenting anymore, so here is another attempt to start writing more often...wish me luck!
Good night,
Natalie

Giving each other high 5's while nursing

We had some warm thunder showers a couple days ago, Cooper loved watching the rain, but did not like being out in it
I came home two nights ago to find my boys watching baseball on craigs phone. Cooper was fascinated with what he called "baseman"
Play date with Harper who insisted that she and Cooper have matching hair.

She was so sweet with him, feeding him and pushing him in his car. Harper just turned two, it was so fun to watch them play together.

 Out to eat tonight.
