The new carpet is in! 38 weeks 5 days!

Carpet day! It is all in and looking great! The team that came to work on it this morning was very fast, they had the whole job done in about 3 hours, wow! For lunch Kylie and I joined my friend Autumn, her kids and a couple beautiful pregnant mama's for a delicious lunch to talk about birth. It was wonderful, I love having a chance to share my passion with other women :o) This afternoon my dad came over and installed new screens on the upstairs windows so we wont have any little people falling out, thank you dad! And my mom helped me start to move the office desk and book shelves back in, it is looking great. I got to attend yoga again tonight. I hope I still have one more class next week, it is sad to me to think that this could have been my last class. Julie is selling Breathe and will not be teaching prenatal yoga anymore :o( I took her class with Kylie and have really enjoyed taking the class again with this baby. I feel like it is the one time a week that I get to devote my time and attention to this new baby without any distraction and I love it. Julie is done teaching in June, so I hope we can get one more class in!

Our stairs before with the casino red carpet, yuck!

Our freshly painted upstairs with the old carpet.

The old stuff on its way out.

New carpet!

New stairs!

And landing too!

Kylie was so excited, she squealed and ran around in circles for about 15 minutes. She kept saying, "this my new play room!"

More rearranging and moving back in to the upstairs tomorrow, I am excited!

P.S. Kylie picked out her own outfit today, it's hard to see, but she has a blue and white stripped skirt, purple stripped leggins, her black and white polka dot Mini Mouse shirt with red tutu and her blue tank top over it. When we left the house she also had grey socks and her blue dress shoes. Kids can pull of anything! Gotta love it!

  1. The carpet looks amazing! I'm glad you had the old ones replaced. The new ones look much better. They are plain, yet elegant. Anyway, it looks like Kylie really likes the new carpet. Hahaha. Her outfit looks adorable, by the way. She definitely has designer potential. All the best! :)

  2. I think the new tanned carpet looks so much better than the previous one. I'm so glad you decided to get a new one installed. With regard to its quality and cleanliness, the old carpet was already pretty bad, even with regular maintenance, so great decision. In any case, I'm sure the whole family is as excited as Kylie is about the new one. Thanks for sharing that, Natalie! All the best to you! :)

  3. The old carpet you had does look unappealing, and all the designs make it hard to point out stains. It’s nice to know that the guys who installed it took only a few hours to finish everything. And they did a pretty great job at it! Anyway, how is the carpet doing nowadays? I hope you’ve managed to keep it in good condition. All the best!
