Liam's First Birthday and other fun photos...

As most of you already know, my passion for taking photos has grown since beautiful Kylie was born. So here are some of my favorite photos and memories from the past couple weeks...
Besides reading on our front porch, Kylie loves to walk next door and play on Misheel's front steps too.
This is the "stop taking pictures and pick me up" face.
Taking a quick water break before its back to play time.
Kylie during her last music class (almost two weeks ago). She really enjoyed getting to play with all the different instruments, and she made a new friend, Xander.
 Dance moves.
 Playing the Triangle.
 Possibly her favorite...the shakers!

Xander and his mommy, teacher Teresa, Kylie and her mommy.
Kylie loves shoes, we are so glad these cute New Balances, from Melissa's boyfriend Tim, finally fit her. She looks so grown-up. Also still having difficulty with the pull pony concept :o)
Happy Birthday Melissa! Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner at Mu, while I ran to teach at the BI.
Grandma brought back wonderful gifts from her month-long trip in Europe. Thank you for the new, anatomically correct, baby boy doll. :o)
This past Saturday we enjoyed a wonderful pool party at Jesse and Emily's house. Happy First Birthday to Liam! Thank you for letting us come swim!

The competition for fun toys starts so early.

After Liam's party, we went to Kyle and Kerry's house to celebrate Kyle's birthday. She enjoyed some more pool time, got her face in the water for the first time (on accident) and enjoyed her first taste of ice cream, home-made mint chip and home-made strawberry. Thank you Kerry for the delicious ice cream, Kylie loved it!
Sunday was Craig's second Father's Day. We went to church as a family in the morning, got Jamba Juice and headed home for a nice long nap. In the afternoon we headed to Chipolte then it was off to Grandma's and I went in to work.
I just love this photo, she is such a character already!

Turns out it is not easy to eat a chip when you don't have back teeth to chew with.
We headed to market night last Thursday and decided it was time for Kylie to have her first pony ride. She loves animals and is getting very good at different animal noises, she can even do the sound for horse. So when we walked over to show her the pony rides, she pointed, said "neigh" and seemed interested. We were worried there might be tears when she got on one, so we asked the woman collecting the money "can we just see how she does on the pony before we pay?" So we put her on, strap her on and she loves it! Craig walked beside her while she rode for about 5 minutes. Then something happened we did not expect, as we got her off the pony she started to cry, "no, no" she said, then "mo, mo" while giving us the sign language for more. What did we get ourselves into?! It took us a few minutes, but eventually we were able to move on and enjoy the rest of market night. We are planning to go back next week and let her enjoy another pony ride.
We got Kylie a new pair of shoes while we were down at market night, by the time we were on our way home (1 hour later) she had scuffed the toes, stepped in berries and climbed in a fountain, the shoes already looked well loved. She also insisted on walking the whole way back to grandmas house, talking up a storm and eating fresh strawberries, we just love this time of year!!!
So much for taking bites, Kylie is an all-or-nothing kind of girl!
On Friday we went to a park in Loma Linda. There were baby swings, but Kylie insisted on swinging on our laps and then trying on her own, she is growing up too fast!
