Kylie May and Her Usual Day 153

Kylie had difficulty fathoming why she did not spend the whole day at someones pool today.  We had to as kindly as possible (It's kind of like making the Incredible Hulk angry when she gets mad), that too much chlorine would just wreak havoc on all that outrageous hair. Once we got the hair involved, she seemed to be slightly more receptive of our message.  In actuality, we just spent a day enjoying the comfort of our cozy (and slightly messy) home.

I decided to make homemade pizza this evening, so Kylie did accompany me for a little father daughter grocery shopping adventure (no mom's allowed).  I don't shop with her alone very often, but it really is great.  The best part is that she taste tests everything (the packaging of everything that is), to make sure that it is proper for consumption.  We call it, Kylie's taste of approval.  It's better than use by dates to tell if something is spoiled.  One look on her face says it all.

She was sound asleep when the pizzeria opened for business, but something about wanting to see her ingredients in action aroused her from a mediocre slumber.  She woke up, took one look at the chaos in the kitchen, and immediately decided she was tired again.  hmmmm.....the sight of Nat and I making a huge mess in the kitchen just didn't interest her.  I guess tomorrow's lesson will be titled "look how much fun cleaning up a messy kitchen is."  Maybe she'll think it's fun.

More to come soon,

Craig
