Johnson Baby Update: Coop had a couple firsts (yesterday technically)

Craig worked that past two days, and even though we had moments of near meltdown (mostly due to Kylie not wanting to take a nap), we all survived and Coopie even thrived :o) Yesterday we walked to my parents in the evening to see the newest addition to their backyard, a sandbox. they have been working hard to create a wonderful backyard for the kids (thank goodness because our backyard is no where near good for them), and yesterday was project sand. Over then next couple days they are building a swing set, yay! Auntie Marta came over yesterday (I got to take a shower and do my hair!!!) and while she was over Cooper did his two new things. He started sucking on his lower lip and he rolled from his tummy to his back! He had been really enjoying tummy time and yesterday and today he was very graceful about rolling on to his back. He has rolled from his back to his tummy a few times but it is always on our bed, so I feel like it doesn't count yet :o) We also enjoyed Sky Town with our friends, it was a big group with 4 2-year-old girls and 3 babies, woo hoo!

Coopie is such a sweet boy, today he sat patiently in the bumbo while Kylie and I unloaded the dishwasher and cleaned the kitchen. He just watches us and smiles, oh so sweet. Kylie is enjoying playing with him more and more. Today she talked to him and made him smile while he was doing tummy time, she also kept trying to give him toys to play with.

I am still learning how to manage both kids when I am home alone, there are often times that go like this...
me-"Kylie, I am going to go change your brothers diaper, I will be right back."
Ky-"ok mommy"..."MOMMY!"
"Ya Ky, what is it?"
"MOMMY"
"YA KY, what do you need?"
"MOMMY!"
"Yes my love, I am just changing Coopie's diaper, what can I help you with?"
"MAMA"
"Ky are you ok?"
"YES!"
"Ok I will be right back, I'm almost done."
"MOMMY!"
"YES KY? Can you hear me? I am almost done."
"YES."
"OK, what did I say?"
"You are almost done"
"Yep!"
"MOMMY!!!"
...
and this whole time Coopie is looking at me wondering why I am yelling across the house, poor guy.

Breastfeeding group and work on the floor tomorrow, fun fun.
