Liam's First Birthday and other fun photos...

As most of you already know, my passion for taking photos has grown since beautiful Kylie was born. So here are some of my favorite photos and memories from the past couple weeks...
Besides reading on our front porch, Kylie loves to walk next door and play on Misheel's front steps too.
This is the "stop taking pictures and pick me up" face.
Taking a quick water break before its back to play time.
Kylie during her last music class (almost two weeks ago). She really enjoyed getting to play with all the different instruments, and she made a new friend, Xander.
 Dance moves.
 Playing the Triangle.
 Possibly her favorite...the shakers!

Xander and his mommy, teacher Teresa, Kylie and her mommy.
Kylie loves shoes, we are so glad these cute New Balances, from Melissa's boyfriend Tim, finally fit her. She looks so grown-up. Also still having difficulty with the pull pony concept :o)
Happy Birthday Melissa! Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner at Mu, while I ran to teach at the BI.
Grandma brought back wonderful gifts from her month-long trip in Europe. Thank you for the new, anatomically correct, baby boy doll. :o)
This past Saturday we enjoyed a wonderful pool party at Jesse and Emily's house. Happy First Birthday to Liam! Thank you for letting us come swim!

The competition for fun toys starts so early.

After Liam's party, we went to Kyle and Kerry's house to celebrate Kyle's birthday. She enjoyed some more pool time, got her face in the water for the first time (on accident) and enjoyed her first taste of ice cream, home-made mint chip and home-made strawberry. Thank you Kerry for the delicious ice cream, Kylie loved it!
Sunday was Craig's second Father's Day. We went to church as a family in the morning, got Jamba Juice and headed home for a nice long nap. In the afternoon we headed to Chipolte then it was off to Grandma's and I went in to work.
I just love this photo, she is such a character already!

Turns out it is not easy to eat a chip when you don't have back teeth to chew with.
We headed to market night last Thursday and decided it was time for Kylie to have her first pony ride. She loves animals and is getting very good at different animal noises, she can even do the sound for horse. So when we walked over to show her the pony rides, she pointed, said "neigh" and seemed interested. We were worried there might be tears when she got on one, so we asked the woman collecting the money "can we just see how she does on the pony before we pay?" So we put her on, strap her on and she loves it! Craig walked beside her while she rode for about 5 minutes. Then something happened we did not expect, as we got her off the pony she started to cry, "no, no" she said, then "mo, mo" while giving us the sign language for more. What did we get ourselves into?! It took us a few minutes, but eventually we were able to move on and enjoy the rest of market night. We are planning to go back next week and let her enjoy another pony ride.
We got Kylie a new pair of shoes while we were down at market night, by the time we were on our way home (1 hour later) she had scuffed the toes, stepped in berries and climbed in a fountain, the shoes already looked well loved. She also insisted on walking the whole way back to grandmas house, talking up a storm and eating fresh strawberries, we just love this time of year!!!
So much for taking bites, Kylie is an all-or-nothing kind of girl!
On Friday we went to a park in Loma Linda. There were baby swings, but Kylie insisted on swinging on our laps and then trying on her own, she is growing up too fast!

15 Months Old Already?!

It's a few days last, but Happy 15 Months to my little bunny. We can't believe how big Kylie is getting, here are some photos from the past couple weeks...

She still loves to wear sunglasses, even inside.
Enjoying taco tuesday at Oscar's with Mommy, Daddy and Auntie Melissa. She decided to order and enchilada, beans and rice.
 Summer time = watermelon time
 Daddy's little girl.
Kylie is getting better about being put down during her naps (I think it helps that it is getting hot and she is more comfortable when she is not close to us). She has also put herself to sleep a couple times lately. She will nurse then push away, lay on her tummy and wave her arms up and down like she is making a snow angel. She tosses her head back and forth and eventually just falls asleep while I lay beside her. She is still sleeping with us (which we love) and still nursing a couple times at night (or more then a couple times, like last night when I felt like she was nursing all night long!)
Kylie got to play at the water fountain at Victoria Gardens with daddy, Grandma Diana, Grandpa David, Auntie Lane, Quin and Alisa. She was a little unsure about the whole thing, but we may try taking her again when it is a little less crowded.
Sporting one of her new outfits from Grandma Diana, 24 months, ahhh, luckily it is still a little big and she should be able to wear it all summer.
Putting rock in the bucket, one of Kylie's favorite pastimes with Grandma Carol. She also loves seeing the "Meow" that often sleeps on their front porch.

Kylie decided she wanted to walk to Grandma and Grandpas house, and that her pony got to come along too.
She made it about 1/2 way before stopping, lifting her arms and saying "up."
Auntie Quin came to visit. She was here for about 5 days. Kylie loved spending some quality time with her Auntie and we appreciated all the help!

Silly baby, she likes to wear my eye cover as a headband, and in this photo she is giving her ducky a big hug before she put the princess crown on the ducks head.
Just getting her morning work done, you know the normal, blanket organization, while taking notes and chewing on a wooden block.
We took a family trip to Corner Bakery while the Johnson group was in town. Auntie Melissa says she was watching her the whole time, but somehow Kylie ended up taking a little dip in the fountain. Thank goodness is was nice and warm out :o)
It makes me feel better that the 24 month onesies are still a little to big for her :o)
She is not stingy with the kisses, even Josh got a kiss via facetime.
So wonderful to have some of the family come visit! Can't wait to see Quin, Lane and Josh next week, yay for summer time!

Kylie is still madly in love with her baby doll, she is so sweet to all of her dolls and stuffed animals, sometimes she just sits in the living room and hugs and kisses each one of them.
Kylie had a little visit from her friend Zachary today, I think he was just updating her facebook status ;o)
Kylie had a little bit of a temperature yesterday and had a little diarrhea yesterday and today. We think she is just teething and desperately hoping it is nothing more. She has one molar in on her left side and I can feel another coming through on her right. I hope it breaks through and she is feeling better soon.
Kylie also got a visit from our good friend Jim. Jim has not been by to visit in a long time, it was so great to see him!

We have a busy weekend of parties and play dates planned, oh so fun!
