Hawaii!! (from Natalie's phone and camera)

We enjoyed a wonderful 6 days in Hawaii. Both kids did great on the flights and really enjoyed having mommy and daddy around at the same time!

Riding the shuttle to the airport. We got stuck in a lot more traffic then we thought we would, so we were worried we might miss our flight, but we made it happen!

 We made it on to the plane, thank goodness.

 Cooper slept while Kylie and Craig made sure we all understood the evacuation instructions.

 She got to watch Monsters Inc. for the first time, she watched the whole thing without blinking and as soon as it was over she said "Can I watch another movie?" She ended up taking a nap and enjoying the other toys we brought, but it was good to know that we had a way of keeping her completely entertained for a couple hours if we needed to.

 Ama and Papa rented a mini van! we loved it! Kylie kept calling it a train and she loved being in the back.

 First thing she did at the hotel was find her surfboard from last year.

 Then we jumped on the bed to celebrate being in Hawaii!

 He was not so found of the sand, so we did a lot of this instead.

 Papa and Ama came down to the beach to hang out with us too.

 Then we enjoyed drinks and dinner at Ama and Papa's wonderful hotel room.

 the next day Kylie wanted 6 braids for beach day.

 While Kylie and Craig were napping, Cooper and I had a mother/son date. I got coffee and he got a banana, it was fun!

 Then it was time to wake up big sis.

 We went adventuring trying to find Kylie a snow cone, but all we found was Yogartland, she was happy.

 Still trying to get Coopie used to the sand...

 but he was much happier with his daddy.

 Sleeping in the stroller. There were many times during the trip that we were glad we had our stroller, both Cooper and Kylie napped well in it.

 The way we started every morning, listening to live music and watching hula dancing. Kylie and I even took the hula lessons a few times (Craig has all those photos, we will have to add them later).

 We went back to the zoo and what did Kylie want to do more then anything? that's right, milk Lannie Moo the fake cow and pet the goats.

 Cooper enjoyed the zoo stroller, but it was Kylie who was sitting in it when the break accidentally engaged and ejected her out the front. That was the end of our very short zoo day.

 Kylie loved the water! And really enjoyed having her floaties on.

 Yep we attached a huge umbrella to the stroller. We also had two more that my mom and dad were holding. Can't have too many sun umbrellas in Hawaii.

 They both fell asleep for the same 30 minutes, it was like a little miracle, my mom and I just sat there and enjoyed relaxing, it was amazing, finally felt like vacation and this was on our last full day there :o)

 Craig had to return the rental car, this was my attempt to make it through the airport alone, cooper was on my back, we did a pretty good job with everything attached to the stroller.

 We enjoyed a wonderful dinner out at PF Changs on night and watched the sun set on the way back to the hotel. We also got to see two big boats come to shore.

Valentines Day... and some other highlights from Feb.

So I am only 1 month behind, and it has been a super busy and wonderful month. I am going to de my best to catch everyone up...

So here was Valentine's Day... and the few days after...(the photos uploaded in an odd order, sorry)

Ammy and Papa came to visit!!!

 The day I taught preschool we made binoculars and went on a search for pink things. this was my way of making sure I didn't lose anyone, not sure if I am proud or embarrassed :o)

 Kylie found her face paint book and decided she needed to be fancy.

 She was not fancy enough with just the face and arms painted, so she changed and painted her legs and feet too!

 Now for the Valentine's Days stuff :o)

 I took photos for the moms at the breastfeeding group. Kylie was not interested in being in the photo with Cooper and I, but we were able to sneak her in :o)

 So lucky to have these wonderful women in my life, so glad they came to visit!!!!

quick update... I think we need a cat!

Well just 12 days after I posted about our somewhat rough couple of days...I am adding a little update... Craig also got strep throat :o( I dropped my nice camera (it seems to still be working, but I have not done a full shoot with it yet), a couple mornings ago a mouse scurried across the kitchen floor and continued to scratch and nibble on the inside of our cupboard until we all left for the day, after setting 4 traps for the past two days, we found one trap upstairs that had been moved into the middle of the room and all the peanut butter was gone :o( sneaky little guy! And just about an hour ago Craig pulled back the comforter to our bed (thank goodness he did and it was not me!) and there was a lizard just laying there on our sheets, looking very comfortable might I add. What is going on?! We are feeling like we need to call pest control before we leave for Hawaii or we might come back to a terrarium instead of a house.

On a happier note the kids are great! Cooper has stood on his own a couple times, the longest was about 8 seconds. His crawling is getting faster and faster, he follows us around the house and really enjoys pulling up on anything he can find.

We also just got his Birth Certificate, he is official!

I will have to add some photos soon :o) Just wanted to write about our crazy house, these are the fun things to remember someday :o)

Slow daown Coopie, you are growing up too fast!

Just today Cooper had two more teeth pop through! The bottom and top one on this left side! He now has a total of 7. He is getting more and more coordinated with his pincher grasp and can get very little things in to his mouth, no problem. His crawling is getting faster and faster and he can pull himself up on just about everything, including pulling himself up in the bath tub. I don't remember Kylie being this active and eager to move, he is going to give us a run for our money :o)

Here are a few comparison photos of Kylie at 8 months, I think Ky and Coop look a lot like each other now, but I don't think 8-month old Ky and 8-month old Cooper are that similar...
