Dinner date before the Fox Dance Performance, turns our Kylie loves salsa!
Every once in a while we decided to rotate and sleep sideways in the bed too, actually works out well.
We took a little trip to Victoria Gardens a couple weeks ago, Kylie brought her baby and pony and enjoyed doing some window shopping.
We also got to spend time with Samantha! Thanks for making the trip to see us, and thank you for the cute bows for Kylie's hair! Just today she asked for all three bows, she had me put them on her head then she said "Mantha" "cute." I couldn't believe that she remembered exactly what bows you gave her and your name, without any prompting! Smart girl!
Kylie got her first bike last week at Market Night. It is a balance bike, two wheels, no peddles, it teaches kids how to balance so they can easily transition to a big bike. She will start by just walking with it, she seems to like it and I'm sure she will get more comfortable with it in no time at all.
Story time at Barnes and Nobel, she is starting to enjoy the train table more. The morning of 7 bows. She just kept saying "mo, mo" until we got to 7, she was so proud of herself.
We really enjoyed going to the Bowl this year. Kylie continues to ask about it, but the last performance was last Friday. We packed up this wagon full and enjoyed a delicious dinner outside with Ama, Papa, Raquel, Jon and baby Alexander. It was a wonderful night with beautiful fireworks at the end of the show, Kylie loved it!
Mish walked us down to the end of the street.
We finally got to go to Gymboree last week, Kylie is getting more and more adventurous.
Showing off her strength by carrying this biggest ball in the whole room, silly girl.
Bubble time is still her favorite part.
Her friend Jackson loves gymboree too, "Hey Kylie you have a bubble in your hair."
"Lean to the right"
The kids are supposed to be under the parachute, but Kylie would prefer to hold the edge like all the parents.
Dance time
"Gymbo Kiss" on both feet after class. Kylie loves these little stamps and points to her feet the rest of the day.
Kylie and I decided to take a trip to Portorville this past weekend. Craig had to work 4 nights in a row (his last night shifts before he moves to days!!!!) so we decided we would let him enjoy an empty house while we went and spent some time with Do, Lala, Al, Ammy, Papa, Josh, Tim and Taytay.
Kylie found this little step stool in the bathroom and loved sitting on it. Of course she wanted company, so Do would come sit with her. She went into the bathroom about three times and on the third time I asked her if she wanted to go "pee pee on the big girl potty." She said yes so we went for it. I held her on the potty and we sang a little song ("Miss Sue" her new favorite little chant) and she went pee! We were all so excited! I couldn't believe it, she is only 17.5 months old! It's not potty training time! She seemed proud, but also acted like it was not that big a deal. Two other times in the same day (yesterday the 26th) she told me she needed to go pee pee and we put her on the potty, sang our little song, and sure enough she peed! We are home today and she has not been interested in going, but we will keep offering and see what happens, guess it's time to buy a little potty for her.
"Hiiiiiii" to the kitty. Kylie likes to say "Hiiiiiiiii" to everyone and everything.
She is also interested in what everyone is eating, especially if it looks different then what she has. So she will open her mouth "Ahhhhh" and wait until you do the same to show her what you are eating.
Spending a little quality time with the cute girl in the mirror.
"Up" kinda difficult to help her with this one.
Kylie got to spend some quality time picking flowers with Ammy.
Smells good.
When Kylie heard the "Moooooo" coming from the neighbors yard she wanted to go on a walk to find the cow.
We got closer and the "Mooooo" was louder and she was not so sure she wanted to continue.
But eventually we made it there and she enjoyed looking at the cows. Kylie can now say "cow" and after we went back inside for dinner she wanted to go see the cows again. It was to dark so we had to settle for uncle Tim "mooing" around the living room.
Reading stories with Auntie Do before we got in the car to drive home. She did really well on the drive, she slept the whole way with one little wake up, she fussed for about 5 min but once I turned on The Sound Of Music she was back to sleep in no time at all. Her favorite song right now is "Maria."
